We are extremely delighted to announce the Call for Papers (CFP) for c0c0n 2026 (https://www.c0c0n.org) . This 5-day security gathering includes 3 days of training sessions and 2 days of activities, featuring engaging panels, talks, villages, CTFs, and, of course, plenty of fun

Important Notes

  • The presentation details document should not include any personal or organizational information that could be used to identify the individual submitting the paper.
  • Submissions that do not follow the guidelines will be automatically rejected without prior notice.
  • We do not promote vendor/product-oriented submissions hence it will be rejected.
  • If you do not get a confirmation email from the Call for Paper (CFP) team, consider it as the submission did not find a place in the c0c0n slots.
  • Adding additional speakers/contributors is not allowed after the initial submission.
  • In cases where there is an update to the research work involving contributions from a new resource person, a fresh paper with the updated details must be submitted before the submission deadline.
  • When submitting your proposal, please note that the organization or company name you provide in the CFP submission will be displayed on the speaker page if your paper is selected. If you require explicit permission before your organization or company name can be published, please indicate this clearly in the “Organization” field at the time of submission. Example: Organization: ABC Corp (Permission Required to Add Company Name)
  • Submitted papers may be technically qualified but may not find a place in the conference agenda due to the limited number of speaking slots. A limited number of such papers will be marked as Standby Talks, and this will be communicated to the submission owner/speaker.
  • Talks marked as Standby will be provided with a complimentary pass to the c0c0n Conference (2 days). In the event of a talk cancellation, Standby Talks may be moved into the agenda, and confirmation will be communicated to the respective speaker.
  • The availability and willingness of the speaker to be considered for a Standby Talk will be confirmed well in advance.
  • Preference will be given to submissions that have not been presented at any security conference in the region/sub-continent within the last nine months.
  • If you have submitted your paper to any other conference in the region and it is accepted or approved, please inform the c0c0n CFP Team at the earliest. Failure to do so may result in c0c0n reserving the right to cancel the submission or talk, even after it has been approved.

Submission Categories

Category 1

New Research
New Research, Innovation, or Discovery of New Vulnerabilities

This category is for original contributions that present:

  • New research findings
  • Innovative methodologies or frameworks
  • Discovery of previously unknown security vulnerabilities

Speaker Privileges (upon acceptance):
  • Travel Reimbursement:
    • Speakers from Americas (North, Central & South America): Up to USD 1,000
    • Speakers from Europe, East Asia (Japan, Korea, China), Africa: Up to USD 750
    • Speakers from Middle East, South East Asia, South Asia (non-India), Central Asia: Up to USD 500
    • Speakers from India : Up to INR 7,000
  • Complimentary accommodation (1 room - dual occupancy for paper submission with two speakers) for 3 nights at one of our conference partner hotels
  • Invitation to Day 4 Networking Dinner / Party.
  • Complimentary Conference Pass / Registration (Corporate Category) for up to two speakers.
Reimbursement Guidelines:
  • Only one ticket per speaker will be reimbursed (economy class airfare or equivalent).
  • Actual ticket cost or the maximum cap (whichever is lower) will be reimbursed.
  • A valid invoice or ticket receipt must be submitted for reimbursement.
  • Reimbursement will be processed after the event, subject to verification.
  • Non-Reimbursable Services
     The following will not be reimbursed:
    • Onboard meals
    • Seat selection charges
    • Priority boarding
    • Additional baggage/luggage allowances
    • Any other additional service purchase
  • Travel Dates
    Travel dates must fall within two (2) days before the start and two (2) days after the end of the conference.
Note:
  • A talk that has been previously presented at another conference will not be considered as New Research.
  • If a CFP submission has multiple speakers, the travel privileges will be applicable to only one speaker.

Category 2

Enhancements
Enhancements, Optimization, or Extensions of Existing Research

This category includes:

  • Improvements to known techniques or technologies
  • Performance optimizations
  • Re-evaluations or extensions of existing research topics

Speaker Privileges (upon acceptance):
  • Complimentary accommodation: (1 room - dual occupancy for paper submission with two speakers) for 3 nights at one of our conference partner hotels.
  • Invitation to Day 4 Networking Dinner / Party.
  • Complimentary Conference Pass / Registration (Corporate Category) for up to two speakers.
Note: This category does not include travel reimbursement.

Category 3

Open Source / Trends
Open Source Projects, Tools, Analytics, Reports, or Industry Trends

This category includes:

  • Showcasing open source tools and community projects
  • Presentation of analytical reports, threat intelligence, or market trends
  • Case studies or technical walk-throughs

Speaker Privileges (upon acceptance):
  • Complimentary Conference Pass / Registration (Corporate Category) for one speaker.
  • Invitation to Day 4 Networking Dinner / Party for one speaker.
Note: This category is focused on community tools and industry analysis.

General Rule: If a CFP submission has multiple speakers, the travel/accommodation privileges will be applicable to only one speaker unless specified otherwise in the category details.
